"The Colosseum" goes bling-bling!

Take notice of the following:

On friday, january 30th, The colosseum might be one of the few places on the SL-world you might be able to see from the SL-moon. Not because of the size, but because of the bling-bling that the crowd will be wearing!

That day, between 1 PM SLT and 3 PM SLT, we are gonna have us a "Diamonds are a Girls Best Friend"-event. This event will be sponsored by Jiloo Tenk, who is one of the best jewelry designers in SL. The winners of the event, 1 boy, 1 girl will get a giftcard they can shop with in her shop right at the shopping mall here at "The Colosseum"!

So.... u better dig into your inventories, to find all the lovely jewelry you have! It might be a good idea to wear sunglasses too to prevent your eyes from serious damage caused by all the shininess!

Reviewing the Insanity....

Ok, it... Rocked!

On monday januari 26th we had our psychobilly-event and, my god, did we have fun. The idea was to do a two hour show, but I ended up playing those insane, energyboosting tunes for like 5 hours in a row. Did I get tired of it? Hell no! Why? First of all those tunes really kept the adrenelin flow, but second, let's not forget that, the crowd that showed up. In total I think around 25 people showed up. And non of them left the place in a big hurry, so I recon they all liked something that was going on it "The Colosseum".


Nekromantix, Demented are Go!, Bloodsucking Zombies From Outer Space, Mad Sin, Batmobile, Resurex, Kings Of Nuthin', Guana Batz, just a few names of the bands played.... And decoration.... we had two cadillacs in! Here is a pic of one of them, with me and Zaza sitting on it, waiting for the fun to begin....



All of you CORians, thanks for making this event as cool as it was, let's all keep on rockin' and I hope to see you all soon again, either on another music-style based event, or at one of our regular event... (or what about on both!)

Yes, it's really gonna happen... Really soon even... "The Colosseum Of Rock" will take you on an amazing trip with the first even music genre based event since it opened his gates to all who are looking for a place that feels like home. Get pen and paper and write it down in capitals:

Think of bandnames like: Batmobile, Demented Are Go!, Mad Sin, Bloodsucking Zombies From Outer Space, Brian Setzer, Nekromantix, Rezurex, Guana Batz, Frantic Flintstones, The Meteors, Reverent Horton heat, Horrorpops, Zombie Ghost Train, etc, etc, etc....



So you better start digging into your inventories to find that greasy mohawk hair, put it on and make sure not to miss a single minute of this upcoming kickass event!

That's what insanity is according to the dictionary. Why this little lesson right here at the C.O.R.-blog, you might ask. Well, 'cause last night I did yet another surprise attack, spinning kickass tunes fr four hours long, and the only word i can think of to describe the overall mood on the dancefloor exually is.... Insanity!

Omigod, it was hilarious again. Great people showed up. Lots of familiar faces, Lexi, Fliss, Serval, Meka and of course Zaza and Maxx were there too! Good to see was that we even had some new faces checking out "The Colosseum" ! Guys, great you took the effort of coming around and feel the vibes. Be sure to become a member of our good family!

Anyway, on about the event. I decided just to grab the stream and see what would happen. I know, might be tricky, but then again, living on the edge isn't always a bad thing. It's like choosing between a red or a blue pill, not knowing what both of them might mean.

And then those conversations in chat. With hardly no chat lag, a lot of fun things were talked over. How the world would look like, if Maxx would have build it (would probably look like one giant penis, if you ask me), we talked about sand, or more specific removing sand (Lexi, it's starting to get itchy). We spoke of dedicating a whole event to " The Lady Of The C.O.R", 'cause I easily can fill 4 hours with tunes she likes....

And then therre were those tunes. Not only the usual stuff you hear all over Second Life, no, I gave the crowd a good insight on what Instant Insanity is to me.

After all I think I choose well, red or blue, I can't remember. All I can remember is that I had a wonderful, magical night, with people close to me that I really do like.

Thank you, you all, let's get this place on the maps. Soon enough the place will be filled all the way, but you, you are the ones that were there from the start. You all are responsible for making this place feel like home.

Biker and Babes

Biker and Babes - Okay if you missed this event, you missed out a great time. The crew got into their biker gear and rode into the stadium. Close your eyes and imagine this: patricia throws her leg over a crotch rocket, skirt barely keeping her modest. She nods her chin at Maxx. Her long legs pulling the bike to her, she guns it towards the entrance. Hitting the moat, her bike leaves the ground, in a short jump into the stadium. She spins to a halt in the center of C.O.R, tossing her hair back as she dismounts, satisfied. I showed up with the lovely Luna waiting for me in the courtyard. She shot me a wink and mounted my SLC Roadster V8m, body wrapped around mine as we rolled into the joint. zaza was already there, swaying to DJ click's tunes as he got us ready for a wild night at C.O.R. Of course, the lovelies Lexi, jae, Alex, K and e. as well as my brothers roonstar, Mich, Merl were among the crowd. The Lady and Lord provided the spot and the initial pot. With the crew's help, the pot hit 500 a person for the Sexiest Biker Baby and the Hardest Biker Man. The Winners were ecstatic, a great night of music, sultry dances, private moments ((shhh)) and Linden, who can complain to that. It was a blast hope to see you there soon! If I get enough comments, I may retell the tale of Happy School Daze. Just one teaser, who got the teacher? - your humble host. Tinus. (This crew performs Sat between 2-4pm SLT)

Of course! Why not! Should be fun to be able to read about all the stuff going on at that damn good place, right?

'cause that's what this blog is all about! All members of the C.O.R.-staff have access to this blog, all of them are able to scribble down their thought, feelings, memories, hell, whatever they want to share with the world about "The Colosseum"!
